Columbarium
A Columbarium (singular) or Columbaria (plural) consists of a structure constructed of above-ground boxes configured to hold urns or containers of cremated remains.
A Columbarium gives communities a central, beautiful focal point to remember their loved ones and hold their cherished memories, and gives those who choose cremation a sacred, safe, and beautiful resting place.
With a Columbarium, you not only serve those in the midst of funeral planning, you can also serve those who may have a loved one's cremated remains in the home or who may wish to plan ahead for their own internment needs.
Our Columbaria have a granite exterior. This is the sturdiest and, in the long term, most economical finish. Construction that includes interior and exterior shutters permits removal of the exterior shutter for lettering or engraving.
Two closing mechanisms are commonly used. One is 4 rosettes visible at the 4 corners of the shutter. The other is a concealed hanger that is affixed behind the shutter. A special tool is required to operate either mechanism.
